Wednesday has started off well. I hope and pray you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I also offer a prayer for a peaceful exchange of leadership today in our country. I pray in the hope that we can move on from divisiveness and hate to a respect for one another and the enhancement of life. May prayer of blessing today will be a simple one. I pray today for God’s blessings upon all of us that we will come to know and honor the gift of life from the first moment to conception to the last breath and for all and every moment in between. May we all truly see life as a gift from God. Loving God bless all of us today, with the reverence and respect for our own life and all life around us. Have a blessed, holy, and lifegiving Wednesday everyone! Be safe, healthy, and warm if you are in the midst of the cold weather and smile. May God bless all our endeavors today, all our meetings, all our encounters with others and all our moments of struggling and decision making. May God keep us, our country and our world moving in the right direction today and always. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul
