Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to all! I pray that you are continuing to make your way through these difficult days with a sense of hopefulness.
I would like to send a shout out to my niece Bridget, who celebrates her birthday today. Happy Birthday, Bridget! Hopefully you will be able to celebrate the gift of this day at least a little! Many blessings today and always. Love your Uncle Paul! Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that our struggling times, our week, our Monday will become a new beginning in our lives and that the problems, struggles, and sadness’s of the past will fade away. May we look upon the richness of the presence of God as we journey through this day. May God bless us in all that we will do today. May today be blessed with many wonderful signs of God’s presence in our life even though we find ourselves in difficult times. May God bless us with the grace of God’s mercy and joy today and always. May everyone have a blessed Monday with blessings upon all we do and upon our world, all nations, our nation, all cities, our city, all towns, our town, all church, all faiths, our Church, our faith, all families, our family and all homes, our home! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
