Today’s Blessing Prayer: Divine Mercy Sunday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual days with a sense of hopefulness.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that God will bless our Sunday with the richness of the mercy and joy of Risen Christ and the joy of God’s love. On this Second Sunday of Easter, this Divine Mercy Sunday, may our Good and Gracious God bless us and protect you from the struggles and perils of these unusual and difficult days. May the God who so loves us that he gave us his only Son touch us with that love today and always. And through the joyous grace of Christ may God lead us to the banquet of lasting joy. Amen – Alleluia! Enjoy your day, don't forget to give God a little time today and I hope as you stay at home that your day will be blessed with some sun, warmth and full of the colors of spring! Peace in Christ's Passion - Joy in the Risen Lord...Fr. Paul
