Today’s Blessing: Sunday greetings and blessings to all. I pray that you are continuing to navigate through these difficult times with a sense of hope and that you are able to find the light and joy of God’s eternal presence.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is a simple one. My God bless us all with the ability to see with the eyes of faith today. May we see the joy of God’s presence in ourselves and others and may we share that joy with all even if we must remain at a distance because of the struggle we find the world in. Have a holy and blessed Sunday everyone, look for the light and enjoy the day as best as you can wherever you are. Please know you are in my prayers always especially during this trying but holy time! Try to give God a little time today too! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
