Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to all! I hope your Thursday is starting off well. From all indications we will encounter rather chilly day here in the New York area with perhaps a Nor’easter on the way. I hope the weather by you will be kind to you today.
Mass at the Wartburg Home in Mount Vernon, NY at 11:00 am this morning but I will head into The Sunday Mass office first as I have a lot of paperwork that needs to get done before I hit the road over the weekend. I would ask your continued prayers for the Synod on Youth and the Passionist General Chapter both in Rome and both coming to an end this weekend. May the Holy Spirit be will all involved and help the Church and the Passionist vision for the future! My prayer of blessing today comes from St. Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians – Friends, I kneel before God this morning, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name, I pray that God may grant all of us in the accord with the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through the Holy Spirit in the inner self, and that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that we, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that we may be filled with all the fullness of God! – And I also ask God to bless us with a joyful and grace filled day! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
