Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are navigating through these late June and early summer days with faith and hopefulness for the future.
As you begin a new day, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) As I began my Today’s Thoughts, I reminded everyone that this is my last posting until August 1st. My Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Retreat begin formally this morning with mass at 9:00 am. If you have a chance over the next month to offer a prayer or thought for me, it would be appreciated. Hopefully we will connect again August1st! My prayer of blessing for all of us today is that we will have a great day wherever you are and in whatever you will be doing! May this day and the next month be filled with blessings, hope, peace, laughter, and sunshine! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul PS God willing, I will see you August 1st!
