Today’s Blessing Prayer: Friday greetings and blessings this morning. I hope you are navigating through these April Easter Season days with faith and a sense of hopefulness. Perhaps, we should draw strength for Jesus’ words in the Gospel today, “Let not our hearts be troubled, but let us have faith in God and faith in Jesus!”
As we begin our Friday, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I ask your prayers today because we have our second April Taping Day for the Sunday Mass today, so I ask your prayers for the Sunday Mass Ministry Team and Production Team today that things will go smoothly! Your prayers will be greatly appreciated. My prayer of blessing is that God will bless all of us this day with the Spirit of knowing the way and throughout this day our hearts will not be troubled because we have faith in God and in Jesus always. May God’s blessings be upon our Friday, and upon our journey through this day and upon all the things, experience and people that try to bring trouble into our hearts. May we all have a productive, peaceful, safe, healthy and Spirit filled day. Peace in Christ’s Passion and Joy in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul
