Today’s Blessing: Friday greetings and blessings to all. I hope and pray you are continuing to navigate through these January days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I would like to first remember all the unborn and promise them that I will constantly work to create a world that they can be born into that works for justice and peace for all through kindness and truth! My prayer of blessing for all of us today is this – wherever we are today, whomever we are with or will encounter and whatever we are doing or will do - I prayer that we will be blessed with the grace, love, and presence of God. Let us live in the Spirit of God today, think positive thoughts, wear a smile and trust that God walks, runs, works, plays and journeys with us helping us fashion a world that will inspire people to bring life into it, and not abort the life they carry! Blessings to all. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, you call us today to sing a new song, to be new skins for the grace of your new wine, to be your people of a new dream of freedom, of justice, of equality for all. Help us today to look beyond the fears, the obstacles, the hate, the angry rhetoric and the sinfulness that often prevents us from singing, holding and dreaming the newness of your mercy, life and love.
