Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! I hope and pray you are continuing to navigate through these February days with faith and hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that God will bless all our endeavors, our encounters, our travels, our times of solitude, our moments of busyness and our times of rest. May this day be what we need it to be. May it be a gift from God that enables us to find the present of God in our life, especially within ourselves! Have a great Saturday and don’t forget to give a little time to God this weekend. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: O God, show your mercy to us and gladden our hearts. We are like the person on the way to Jericho who was overtaken by robbers, wounded, and left for dead. O Good Samaritan, come to our aid. We are like sheep that have gone astray. O Good Shepherd, seek us out and bring us home in accord with your will. Let us dwell in your house all the days of our lives and praise you for ever and ever. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by St. Jerome)

May Jesus Christ’s Passion be truly always in our hearts! My prayer today is for God’s blessings upon all of us wherever we are and in whatever we are encountering today. I pray we stay safe, warm, and have a great day. May we find the richness of God’s presence in our lives today and always. Also, I pray that the end of this day will bring us to the beginning of a restful and enjoyable weekend. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: O God creator of all good things, you are our light and our salvation, whom should we fear. You are the stronghold, the rock of our life, of whom should we be afraid? Help us as we live each day by discerning what is right and true, by taking comfort and always hoping in you. Guide us along your right path knowing that you are always with us, and you will never leave us to face life alone. Amen!

Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Lord, Jesus Christ, let me seek you by desiring you, and let me desire you by seeking you. Let me find you by loving you and love you by finding you. I do not seek to understand so that I can believe, but I believe so that I may understand. And what is more, I believe that unless I do believe, I shall not understand. Amen (Prayer by St. Anselm of Canterbury)

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Once again, Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! May God’s blessing of love touch your life this day through another person and or your journey of life through this day! Remember - “Perfect Love casts out fear.” (1 John 4:18) As I journey through my Tuesday, I will keep you in my prayers. I pray – that God may give us a “worry free” day – that God will bless us all with the richness of his grace and love – that any journeys today will be safe, swift and easy – that our encounters with others will be life giving and productive – and that our journey through this Tuesday will be filled with smiles. Thus, may God bless our day with the Spirit of peace and hope. Have a day filled with many blessings and remember “Always tell of God's love. If necessary, using words.” (St. Francis of Assisi). Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Prayer of Love
If I speak in human and angelic tongues* but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. If there are prophecies, they will be brought to nothing; if tongues, they will cease; if knowledge, it will be brought to nothing. For we know partially, and we prophesy partially, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I put aside childish things. At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face. At present I know partially; then I shall know fully, as I am fully known. So, faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is Love. (1 Corinthians 13:1-13) |
